TRAINER Craig Gardoll landed the quinella when Quick As lived right up to his name to defeat kennelmate Dasey May in the recent Don Waldron Memorial (484m) at Casino.

Casino hosts a handful of special races that everyone who races at the track loves to win and the Waldron Memorial is certainly one of them.

The Gardoll chasers dominated the betting for the race with Quick As starting the $2.80 favourite just ahead of Dasey May at $2.90.
